Baby Music (Pre-Walkers)

Welcome to our Baby Music Class! This is a lively, interactive class designed for little ones from birth to 18 months old. Play musically with your baby through bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games, singing, dancing, and playing simple instruments. Activities are included to increase your baby's curiosity about music, develop early aural skills, a sense of beat, and to deepen your bond together.

Family Music For Toddlers 18 Months-3 Years

Welcome to our Toddler Music Class! This is a lively, interactive class desgned to introduce your little ones to the joy of music. We'll explore different rhythms, melodies, and instruments in a fun and engaging way. Our classes are filled with singing, dancing, and playful learning. We believe in the power of music to stimulate your toddler's mind, boost their confidence, and improve their motor skills. Come join us for a musical adventure that your toddler will love!

Family Music For Babies & Toddlers Birth-3s

Welcome to our Family Music Class For Babies & Toddlers! This is a joyful, interactive space for children from birth to 3s and their grown-ups.

We'll be singing, dancing, clapping, playing simple instruments and echoing tonal and rhythm patterns to develop the ear. This is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your child, make joyful music, meet other families, and create lasting memories together.

Families receive a wonderful family packet each session including CD and digital download code, activity book with songs and activities from class to continue the learning and fun at home!

Cycle Of Seasons For Preschoolers Ages 3-5

Celebrate your preschooler's growing independence and love of the outdoors with activities involving the four seasons in The Cycle of Seasons. Developed to build attention and self-expression, activities include singing, moving, focused listening, musical games, patterning, exploring musical instruments, creative movement, and storytelling. The Cycle of Seasons nurtures your growing child's ability to use language and participate in dramatic play within a music context.

Fun family packets including wonderful music recordings (CD and digital code) are included for use at home to increase family involvement in the learning process.

Music Makers Ages 4-5 ( )

Beginning at about age 4 1/2, children are ready for Music Makers I. this two-year learning program that includes singing, creative and structured movement, playing instruments, ensemble work, ear training, guided listening and working with written music patterns. Considering every step in your child's development, this approach to music literacy builds symbolic thinking, concentration, memory, and self-expression.

In Part 1, Music Makers At Home In The World, children are engaged in activities designed to establish a solid music-making foundation. This is the time to support your child's love of nature and to develop a love of instruments. We'll introduce students to the sounds of a variety of orchestral instruments individually and in the context of an ensemble.

In Part 2, Music Makers Around The World, students will explore the music of the British Isles, Germany, Amerindian and African American heritage and music. We'll learn songs, dances, stories, traditions and customs, deepening our understanding of different people and cultures from around the world.

At the end of this course, students will have developed a comprehensive music foundation and will be well prepared for Music Makers Piano Class.

This class meets for the academic year beginning in the Fall. Students may enroll at any time. during the course when space is available.

My First Piano Class For Pre-K 4s & 5s

Introduce your child to the piano in My First Piano Class! Filled with hands-on fun at the piano, group games and activities, singing, movement, and duet time, students develop new music and piano skills in a positive, encouraging, environment. Sign up with a friend and make new music friends in this fun class for kids ages 4s and 5s.

Piano Group Classes Ages 6+

Kids LOVE learning to play the piano with other kids. Your child will be playing songs from the very first lessons and learning new songs every week. In our small group classes, students advance quickly with lots of time for skills development, instruction, game based learning, and hands-on fun. Music making with peers creates an energetic, encouraging learning community that builds confidence and skills.

Kids leave their weekly lesson already knowing how to play and practice their songs. Weekly games and activities include developmentally appropriate rhythm, melody, harmonization, improvisation and composition activities to develop aural skills, note-reading, and musicianship.

Kids LOVE learning to play the piano in these fun lessons. Your child will be playing songs from the very first lessons and learning new songs every week. Students advance quickly with lots of time for skills development, instruction, game based learning, and hands-on fun.

Kids leave their weekly lesson already knowing how to play and practice their songs. Off bench time includes rhythm, melody, harmonization, improvisation and composition games and activities to develop aural skills, note-reading, and musicianship.

A piano/keyboard is required for home practice.
August 18-December 19 | No lessons Thanksgiving week.
January 12-May 16 | No lessons 1/19, 2/16, Spring break.
